On June 21 the Placentia Area Historical Society teamed up with Castle Hill National Historic Site to celebrate the summer solstice.  This resulted in an evening of entertainment at the interpretation centre on Castle Hill.  A number of youth and adult performers entertained the approximate sixty people who attended.  This included singing, musical presentations, story telling and visual arts displays.  The group also enjoyed tea coffee and sweets during a brief break.Solstice_on_Castle_Hill.
