The Archaeology Lab for Placentia is now open for public viewing and information. You will see examples of the many artifacts that have been dug up at Fort Louis/New Fort site.

In some cases there are pictures to show what broken artifacts would have looked like when whole.

Two long-time, well-versed field technicians provide intrepretation with interesting tidbits regarding Placentia's past! The display is located in the Cultural Interpretation Building next to the Town Hall on Patterson Drive. Hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 -12:00 and 12:30 - 4:30. Admission is free.
